reitred public servant can be punished ?

Hello,

Can a retired public servant be punished/summoned to show cause notice/benefits can be stop, if his SIL [498a victim] complaints to his higer ups that

- FIL can be a legal witness

- any punishment/disciplianry action by company for giving dowry as per CCs Rules

- can his higher ups stop any benfits/PF basing on SIL's complaint

- Can a plaint can be filed aginst him for giving rules as per CCS Rules, if company do not take any action.

After retirement, the govt can not stop the benefits, the accused/Govt servant is convicted.

First of all, your question is contradictory in itself, as on one hand you make a mention of company, as if you were an employee of a company, on the other hand you make a mention of CCS Rules, which are applicable only to the Central Government employees. So, you need to clear your position first, whether you were a Central Government employee or a State employee or a company employee.

If you were a Government employee disciplinary action can be taken by your department within the next 4 years of retirement for any misconduct on your part during your service time.

Your PF cannot be held on account of any disciplinary case.
