harrashment from wife

please tell me in details what can be done if a lady is harrashing her hushband to file a false case of demand of dowry and physical and mental torture. what if she is threatning to commit suicide and also kill the new born baby, and blaming his husband for all this. plz give me advice. i am a central govt employee also.

Lodge a GD in the local police station immediately. Try to involve as many neutral persons known to both of you regarding this regular torture. If the wife is staying now separately then file case for restitution of conjugal rights as well.

in addition to what Mr.barman has advised, try your best to take her to a good psychiatrist for counselling.

Adding on to ld. members replies also do following

1. Invest in a pocket spy camera and pocket audio recorders / cellphone reocrders which all come under Rs. 5 K from grey market and "record" all her threats.

actually i wnat to resolve this matter, with out switching over to legal or police proceedings. even taking her to psychiatrist for counselling is difficult. i failed to convinceher to go for medical help or psychiatrist help. she says, i am not mad or mental patient. i am horribly afraid with her threats. i dont know what to do. is there any way...by which i can report all these matter to police or court without initiating any reaction from police or court....just for my safety purpose...i dont want her to make aware of all these initiations. tell me what is difference in GD, NCR & FIR. PLEASE HELP ME. i am working in india's top nuclear establishment and really just can not concentrate on my job. i feel it may lead to serious accident also.please dont post any of this content or your reply to my cellphone.
