Hi Frnds!
I had taken a home loan from Indiabulls, now I transfer it with HDFC and I paid all dues by DD & Chque.
Now my query is if I close my account on 11-06-2013 and paid all dues by D & Cheque on same day I mean on 11-06-2013 but Bank charged me interest till 14-06-2013, they toled me that it credit in our account after 3 days only so you have to pay interest till 14-06-2013.
When I asked them u start counting the interest from the day one when u disburse the loan not from its cheque clearing date then why should I have to pay 3 days extra interest they toled me its our policy.

Mr.Vijaysingh, I have seen the replies of experts given last time.
1. Bank is right in its actions.
2. As regards your counter argument that when the interest charged from the day the cheque is issued while disbursing the loan, it is a measure to check the mis-use of loan by miscreants.
3. For trivial amount using this forum again and again is not fair on your part.
When you have given cheque for repayment, until the funds are received in the hands of the banker, they are in charging the interest. No consumer forum will entertain this type of cases which ultimately yield no result except to satisfy your ego problem.
