yes, you can make a Will in favour of a minor don't forget to state that it is my last will and testament. You may designate an Executor / Administrator to look after the minor's interest till the child attains maturity Normally after the Father, the Mother is the natural guardian of the minor. You would have to give good reasons for her elimination from the Will. Get the Will registered although it is not legally required
