filling of attestation form for govt job

Hello sir,
Recently I have clear govt job which dosent require any work experience but now I have to fill attestation form where there has a column of previous employment, I have worked with an private firm but since I had left the firm without serving notice period I don't have any experience letter.. Now my question is whether I should write about my previous employer of write not applicable as I don't have proper certificates.. Please help me... Regards
