Stampduty require to cancel fraud sales deeds

Respected sirs,
My younger brother , sister & sister in law sold my late father's hard earned agricultural land in my absence , I have been living with family long away from my native place, I come to know this in Jan. 2012. but anyhow I was not able to file suite against them , the land sold to local land mafia , who was booked for some criminal offenses by local police . My lawyer ask me to paid huge amount of stamp duty to file the suite, he also told me that your case is beyond the time limit. the fake sale deeds registered in year 2006 & 2007. the total amount mentioned on sales deed is 3103500. Can you please tell me how much stamp duty require to file the case, the land is in one of the tahasil place in Maharashtra.
please tell me earliest as I 'm afraid that the mafia will manage everybody in my absence

Stamp Duty varies from State to State. You will require to pay the stamp duty on the value amount of the suit to be filed. You can inquire exact stamp duty in the Registrar's Office.

Limitation starts from the date of knowledge which is 3 years.
