Sir,
My query is whether the Lic of India is under the jurisdiction of CAT in case of removal from service of class 3 employee from service. If not, than can one file the case in Labour court?

Section 14 of the Administrabunal's Act, 1985 deals with the Jurisdiction of the CAT.
Section 14(2) empowers the Central Government by notification, bring under the jurisdiction of the CAT, any local or other authorities within the territory of India or under the control of the Government of India and corporations [or societies] owned or controller by Government, not being a local or other authority or corporation [or society] controller or owned by a State Government:
Exercising its powers under Sec. 14(2), the Central Government has notified so many organizations to be under the jurisdiction of CAT.
Please see the list of such organizations coming under the jurisdiction of CAT. (you can also visit the website http://cgat.gov.in/department_wise.htm )
At present as many as 204 organizations are under the jurisdiction of CAT. BUT, LIC is not one of the organizations falling under the jurisdiction of CAT.

It is true that no insurance company and no Banks are brought under CAT.
The suitable relief can be sought by way of Writ.
