You can act there is no bar.
Arvind Sehdev (Expert) 21 November 2011
I doubt that you can take it without prior permission of the Bar Council...

Please confirm from The Bar Council of your state...
It is not full time that is understandable but still Bar Council prevails....

Don't move without their consent....

I feel as a hobby, occasionally you can act, not on remuneration, but to explore your hidden talents. Tell us name of the film, so that we also can watch and appreciate.
RAJU O.F., (Expert) 22 November 2011
I have to add that the South Indian Super Star Mammootty, was an advocate practicing in Kerala.
Shailesh Kr. Shah (Expert) 22 November 2011
Nice Information.
A. A. JOSE (Expert) 23 November 2011
I too agree with the veiws of experts. What difference does it make ? Presumably, even otherwise, you have been ACTING as a Lawyer in the Courts of law and now that you merely wants to change the venue ! If questioned in future by the Bar Coucil, you have already been given an authoritative precedent of super Actor Mammootty and you may make use of the same. Go ahead - best of luck
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 23 November 2011
Please dont say that Advocates are acting in the court.

The advocates are performing their role in the court of law.

Acting means which is not real, only reel.
