Special marriage act is for inter religion marriage and not for inter caste marriage. You can marry as per your religion and can get it registered with registrar of marriage.
Adv. Yogen Kakade (Expert) 15 January 2016
Is it inter cast marriage or inter religion marriage?
If it is inter cast marriage and both are hindu.. then go for marriage under Hindu Marriage Act. Approach the Marriage registrar of your city.
