Regarding police verification in government job

I was arrested by jaipur police because I was drunk.
later I paid fined in the court.
would it affect my career.
i am selected in government job
my residence is in kishangarh.

It would not put affect on your career. IT IS A PETTY OFFENCE AND LIABLE FOR DISMISSAL ON PAYMENT OF FINE.

@Dr JC Vashista- i was heading to my hostel by walk, police came and caught me, when I asked my fault they said you were highly drunk.

but also beware after joining service. It is a professional misconduct for a Govt servant to be found drunk in public place or on duty.

@sudhir kumar- sir i left drinking from that day only. there was fear in my mind that would it affect my career or not

I feel, you wanted solution to your academic query. If not, in the absence of any problem right now, your query is quite premature. You could have asked this question had you faced some problem in getting Government job.

Drinking at home in the evening and remaining at home throughout the night is the best policy. Be in limit and live long.Rest leave on the almighty God.

There s no law that you will be arrested and made to pay penalty for heavily drunk and walking while you have not indulged in any activity causing nuisance or disturbance to public , you are trying to update your academic knowledge, right?
