Mrs A residing in U.K. who is bedridden wants to draw a power of attorney in favour of Mr m who is also staying in U.K. for a property in india at Pune to carry out repairs and since it is not registered to carry out all the legal formalities to regularise. the property my question is how and where to draw the power of attorney since Mrs a can't leave U.K. ? Please guide us

do following steps:-
1.execute and registered power of attorney(POA) at U.K;
2.whenever Mr. M comes india, then adjudicate poa before the collector of pune;
thereafter mr. m uses poa.

Anyone from any part of India can such POA and send you across mail.
You then take its print out in India and get it notarised locally. Send that same through post which will be adjudicated in India and will come into force.

power of attorney for carrying out repairs does not require registration . your lawyer can send you POA . . the principal can sign the said POA in presence of notary public

A special power of attorney deed drafted for the particular purpose can be executed by the principal at UK itself in favor of the person desired but has to be duly notarised by a local Notary public at that place or since it is likely to be used in India, the same can be attested by the Embassy official with their seal, the POA so obtained can be registered in India by producing the relevant identity proofs or the agent can proceed with the same for initiating necessary steps desired for on the basis of the said deed.
