Harassment of daughter by illegal money lenders

(Querist) 17 March 2013 This query is : Resolved
My uncle had a huge lone on him(approx 1 crore)from different Illegal money lenders(which was increased due to interest rate), which he could not pay. So he ran away with the family. Her daughter is studying in a college and living in the hostel since 1.5 years. Now the money lenders are harassing her for her father location, showing her the cheque and photos for her father, and telling every one in the way that her father took money and ran away, even she don't know where her father is. She complaint the college authority, they are telling to file a FIR. Will that be of any help because every time there will be a different person coming to her. And even after the complaint is filed and the money lenders still harass her what should she do? Her father is keeping IP(I dont know what is it exactly, they are telling it will still take 4-5 months), will that save them from illegal money lenders. What should the girl do, she is over 18.

she may send detailed complaint to concerned district SP or city Commissioner of Police as the case may be with the list of lendors not to harras or enquire her. In addition to that she may send a complaint to the state human right commission against the lendors who all are to be indluded in the IP.

Nothing to add more except that the complaint should be made immediately seeking further relief to provide her lady police help who can minutely watch the activities or modus operandi of such lenders and may immediately take action against them.
