Need advise on Buying a property go through settlement

(Querist) 15 May 2010 This query is : Resolved
Ok thanks for instant respone..

Would like to give some more clarity on my question..

We are buying the property from a muslim women(herein called Vendor) who got this property(with all rights) through a settlement from her father who self-acquired this property.

Vendor has 1 sister and 2 brothers who were not included in the settlement, which she got from her father (CONCERN #1).

And Vendor has 1 son(major) and 1 daughter(minor) (daugher being minor is my CONCERN #2, as she may create dispute on this property later saying she has right on her grand father's property)

Given this, will you still say that I don't have to worry about these two concerns e and proceed with buying the property. Thanks

Yes. Even after coming to know fresh and important facts (which you suppressed earlier), I have similar opinion as conveyed earlier.

Thank you very much for your opinion, based on your opinion we will proceed with buying the property without any worry.

Just curious to know, how this case is different, usually it will be told as childrens will have rights on Grand parent's property, even in this case, Vendor (muslim women) from whom we are buying this property has got this property from her father through settlement, then how Vendor's children will not have rights on this property

A person can executed any number of settlement deeds regarding his properties, provided one property settled can not be made as a property in other schedule

I am not clear on your reply, may be my question is not clear...

My question is, usually it will be told like, "Grand childrens will have rights on their Grand Parent's property"

In my case, Muslim women from whom we are buying this property, earlier has got this property through a settlement from her father (who got this property from his own money i.e. self acquired).

Then how can we say that, Muslim women's children (1-Major, 1-Minor) will not claim rights on this property in future.
