divorce decree

Can you please help me?

I got seperated and filed a case and I got the court order.

The main matter of the order is as follows..
This application is hereby allowed.
The marriage solemnized between the parties on 3-2-01 is hereby dissolved.
Decree be drawn accordingly.
No order as to costs.
and then........

my question is "is it a decree" or I need to get a decree.

What is a decree?
- is it a some kind of document or a term

I have submitted the order to the immigration but they are requesting for Decree.

Can you please help me?

You refer is order and one page another remains affixed with the order called a decree.

You again apply for the decree from the record of the court and provide it to the immigration officers as required.

In case of petition for dissolution of a marriage by a decree of divorce, the Court passes a Judgment containing the reasons for passing its order and also draws a DECREE SHEET. It is mandatory and in every such case, a decree sheet is drawn. May be that you have obtained copy of Judgment only and not of the Decree Sheet. You can obtain certified copy of the Decree Sheet from the Court.
