11 month rent agreement-mumbai

Hi,

Is having 11 month rent agreement for Residential property in Mumbai on Rs 100 stamp paper enough or are there any other requirement also to be met ?

Under Registration Act a lease for more than a year shall be registered. But most of the States amended as a lease below one year also compulsorily registerable. so check in your state or search the IGR of the State.
