Share in inherited property

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 07 October 2018 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/Madam, My mother (only child. No siblings) got an agricultural land from her father (transferred automatically to her on grandparents death). Now can my mother transfer her property to any of her child or SELL the property to anyone without my knowledge or signatory as per her wish or does all her children has equal right to the property?

We are 3 children in total. Myself (Elder daughter), an elder brother and younger sister. Kindly guide me at your earliest.

Thank you

Yes mother can transfer now her self acquired property that she got from her father as a sole heir to anyone she so desire with or without any consent of any of her children.
She can even make Will for the same for anyone to be its beneficiary.
In case she dies without making a Will, the property will be inherited by all her children and husband if he's alive, each getting one share each.
This will be for Hindus in India.

Instead of posting such a long story as "anonymous" author, where there is no reason to conceal your identity, you should have posted this question giving your identity as "anonymous" person is not obliged by experts as rules of this platform.
However, you have replied your own question as affirmative.

What do you mean by "transferred automatically"?
