Degree would valid or not?

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 04 May 2018 This query is : Resolved
Sir ,My caste is 'kumhar' which falls under obc in UP I also belong from up.in 2014 state govt had order to provide SC certificate to kumhar caste so I applied caste application and got SC certificate one month later there was a stay order from Allahabad HC to not issue sc certificate to any kumhar person and ask to fill counter to state govt on what basic they include in sc because the power of inclusion and exclusions of any caste have central govt.....
In 2017 HC reject govt order and said it was unconstitutional and said validity of issued caste certificate in this case will decide by state govt and central govt it's own label.

BUT I have took admission in up govt engineering on reserved seat on the basic of sc certificate in 2015 and now I am in my 3rd year .

My question is that...My admission is valide or not?
And my degree would be safe in future.
Am I eligible for govt exam like UPSC.
Is there any problem in future if I took job in obc certificate.

Degree, if awarded or not cancelled by the University, would always remain valid.
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 05 May 2018
Based on the SC Certificate, you have only taken admission for studying.
Once you obtain the degree, you can apply for any govt. job/examination under your OBC category. There will not be any problem. (You need not unnecessarily discuss with anybody about your obtaining admission/studying based on SC certificate).

There could be nothing wrong or illegal in stating the fact that admission was obtained by reserved quota.
Guest (Expert) 05 May 2018
Mr.Ramachandran could you justify your statement why the Querist should hide the fact please.

As usual, Mr. NJS Rajkumar has done nothing except making vague posts. Wrong in his job, as after effects of declaration, can be experienced only by the querist, not by Mr. NJS Rajkumar. Mr. NJS Rajkumar cannot guarantee job security to the querist after he makes declaration on the basis of his advice.

@JIGYASU: sir what is your opinion?
Have I done any mistake since certificate was issued by tahsildar.
Guest (Expert) 05 May 2018
No mistake on your part, if caste certificate issued by the competent authority. But as Mr. Ramachandran advised you, beware about office politics, when you get employed in Government service. Any loose talk may prove to be costly, as authorities are easily become biased on any information received through their touts and sycophants.

Yes, your admission to the Engineering course remains unaffected and it would be valid for all purposes.

I agree with experts, caste certificate issued by competent authority is, and shall, remain valid and unaffected.

The admission was based on the certificates you have produced before the college authorities.
The college authorities have verified all the documents and certificates properly before admitting you to the desired course you applied for.
Now based on the high court decision, you cannot be deprived of the privilege since it is not your fault.
In case of any derecognition at a later stage, you seek remedy by filing a writ petition agaisnt the authorities and also against the government for meting out this injustice to you.
