GRANTED LAND OR GENERAL LAND

(Querist) 30 December 2017 This query is : Resolved
Our grand grand father got some land by the way of granted land (dharakast) in 1931 and the same land auctioned by court for some reason in 1940-1941 and someone got that land in auction but before they got occupancy on that land our grand father\'s did some convince and taken the same land for rs 600 by the way of registration. So my question is , is this land is now treated as granted kand or general land?

It's general land as it was purchased from the person who got it through auction.

"Dharakast land" is known as "D.Patta Land".Since the nature of land itself is a "D" Patta land, there should be a proceeding, to be obtained from the Mandal Revenue Officer about the conversion of land from Dharakast land to General land.

now it becomes the general land

'Buyer Beware' applies to property deals.
It shall be appropriate to get proper legal opinion from a very able LOCAL senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in revenue/property/civil/DRT/SARFAESI matters before signing or making payment.
This may cost some FEE but can defend long term interest and hard earned monies.

Generically speaking; the land obtained from auction from self earned funds should be self acquired/not an award/grant land.
Hope you have the copies of grant/Darkhast…..etc , cancellation order by authority, auction order, auction record, sale by new owner per auction, and sale deed registered by seller.
These documents issued by court may be required to update mutation records, by O/o Authority.
Thereafter sale deed may be required to update mutation records, by O/o Authority.
Show these and property related docs all a very able LOCAL senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in revenue/property/civil/DRT/SARFAESI matters…before you conclude.
In case you are buyer prefer to get proper legal opinion, before you decide.

Status of granted land ends on auction process of the land.
