Greeting!
I have to file evidence of Sound Recording on mobile phone in a private criminal case for defamation, & threating to client. I would like to know the procedure of filing this Evidence in a court.
It is great pleaser to me if any one answer this Question...

Yes certainly you have to read section 8 and section 63 of Indian evidence ACt together and also the decision reported in A.I.R. 1993 Madras. P. 59. Theere are other decisions also on lthis subject.
Please also refer to SEc. 22A of Evidence Act.

Yes it is admissible in evidence. If the sound is recorded in data card you can file before court the data card. If it is not possible copy it in to CD and produce with player before court.
