the person in question came along her wife and kid to his in laws' home on a festival in September last year but some minor arguments took place and he has not returned to take them back so far.As told earlier he is not responding in any way.He has simply deserted them both to their fate at her parents's home. Girl's father could not bear this for long and expired due to heart attack in february this year. This is not a question paper. This what our family is going through for the last one and half year.I am her elder brother. We tried all means to talk to him even went to his house to meet him but he is simply escaping any contact.Kindly help by providing valuable guidance. What can be done in such a situation.Thanks.

Seek help/ intervention of some relative(s)/ elderly person(s) of the society or friend to sort out the matter amicably, no serious allegation is found in the query. Donot seek legal recourse and disturb their married life.
otherwise file a case for their maintenance and wait for its response.
Engage a prudent local lawyer.
