Gratuity for teachers in private unaided convent school

I am teaching at St Anthony's junior college agra from year 2000. I will be retiring in 2023. I was told by the school clerk that as i am mot made permanent teacher i would not be getting my gratuity. Is that possible? Can they keep me temporary without any contract etc. I am getting salary as per other teachers and same facilities. Please advise.

You shall be eligible.

Discreetly, Download proof of appointment, DOJ, continuous service.

Probably the management has enrolled you without any record and probably clerk knows it.

There is no reason to believe the words of the clerk because he may not be aware of the gratuity rules, you shall be retiring in the year 2023, so wait till then
