Suit for Partition

Respected Experts,

We 5 brothers and sisters are having a house in chattisgarh state and are in possession of the house.
The house's market value is 5 crore rupees , however going by the collector guidelines it is 1.5 crore rs.. I want to bring a suit for partition ,kindly guide me how much court fees or duty need i deposit to bring the suit .

Court fees differ state to state.

In tamilnadu, for suit for partition, standard court fee is Rs.100/ irrespective of value of the property.

For this purpose u should consult a Local Lawyer, only he can answer you better, fee will be nominal may be Rs.100 to 2000

You have to pay court fees on the market value of your share of the property. In A.P if you claim joint possession of the property then the C.F is only 100/- and in case your are out of possession you have to pay advolerm C.F on the 3/4th of the market value of your share of property
