Minor's name is not mentioned poa

(Querist) 25 February 2016 This query is : Resolved
My grandfather's business was sold by my father's eldest brother who was taking care of it, citing the debts and it was after my grandfather's death. It was sold to one of our employees using the power of attorney given by all the stakeholders and it all happened in 1995. After 10 years or so, he has started to buy properties that he could not possibly have earned in that timeframe. And few other actions of him confirmed us that he had played some foul game in that deal, but we are not able to find it.

One of the things that I feel he has missed is, he has got POA from my father to sell that property, but has not mentioned my name as minor anywhere in the paper. Can anyone please tell if this would be a valid one enough to sue him?

Thanks, Paraman

Business of your grandfather would be inherited by all his legal heirs. Your father has sold the business inherited after your grandfather as legal heir, by giving POA. You have no claim on this sold business as you were not a legal heir of your grandfather.
