un nessesary fone call by police

sir,

three days ago a girl was ran away with a boy ang got married,both are major.
now the problem is that my father is a family friend of boy's family,and they asking my dad about any clue if he has,when my dad was said in front of police that he knew nothig,and avoid further call by police .
than the police call my brother that my dad is not piking the fone & where he is, he(brother) said that you have no. of my dad its ur problem if he is not piking up the fone then they said sorry,but still call to my brother.
what we can do -so that they not call my brother regarding my dad's nomber issue,
1. what are the concequence in my father problem,can police arrest my father in conspressy metter.
2. can we stop police to stop call my brother.

1.AS THE BOY AND GIRL ARE MAJOR AND THEY ARE ALREADY MARRIED THEY SHOULD GET THEIR MARRIAGE REGISTERED AND BE BOLD ENOUGH TO APPEAR FOR REGISTERING THEIR MARRIAGE .
ONCE THEIR MARRIAGE IS REGISTERED THEY CAN FILE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE IN ANY COMPLAINT CASE POLICE CANNOT ARREST THEM AND THE HARASSMENT OF ALL CONCERNED WILL BE STOPED.
2.IN THE MEAN TIME YOUR FATHER IN CASE HE IS APREHENDING ARREST THEN HE MAY APPLY FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL AT DIST AND SESSIONS COURT HAVEING AREA JURISDICTION AND MENTION ALL FACTS .SAY OF CONCERNED POLICE STATION WILL BE CALLED AND IN CASE HIS NAME IS IN F.I.R. THEN HE CAN GET ANTICIPATORY BAIL AND WILL BE PROTECTED AGAINST ANY ARREST BY POLICE.BUT IN CASE HIS NAME IS NOT THERE IN F.I.R. THEN HIS FURTHR HARASSMENT WILL STOP PLEASE NOTE.

If both the parties are major then there is no question of Police harassment unless the complaint relates to abduction of the girl. You can lodge complaint before the Higher authority of Police against the Police harassment.

If the police simply inquiring and not torturing by word or other ways. What is the problem. You should not invite the problem and must cooperate to police answering their query. But if the sequence does not stop, then you should complaint to higher official or adopt legal remedy.
