I applied fresh arm license in commission er of police after enquiry of my area police station SHO not recommend weapon due to lack of threat so now what can I do for possess of weapon is there any alternative process ..

The Supreme Court had already Cautioned Trial Courts and High Courts Not to be Lenient in Sentencing for Illegal Possession of Arms and Weapons.If you are denied the License that's it any Illegal Possession would be Crime.

Grant of Licence for Arms to any Individual is a delicate matter and if you cannot justify substantial threat to life , the authority has to reject your application.
In case you feel ,you are aggrieved with the
rejection order and you have enough reasons in your support, then you have to approach the next higher authority as per Arms Act for redressal of your grievances.
