Marriage registration

Guest (Querist) 06 September 2015 This query is : Resolved
An adult boy married an adult girl girl through a registered marriage deed.Registration was done before an authorised marriage registrar but subsequently the boy and his family refused to recognise the marriage. An FIR was lodged against the boy by the girl. The boy was initially arrested just for a day by the police and was released on the very next date through bail from court. The boy is taking the plea before the court that he was compelled to do the registration under pressure from the girl and her mother. The girl lost her father long back.
What is the merit of the case for the girl?

The Boy being Major/Adult the Registration of Marriage is Valid.Consult the Women's Legal aid forum for the Best Guidance. They would handle it Perfectly. He can not just give Excuses to get rid of her Just Like That. There Could be Various Reasons For his Parents to Refuse their Daughter In Law Like Expectation Of Huge Dowry etc.Consult the" Free Legal aid Forums for Women" in all the Courts and they would take Care.

In the given fact marriage is valid, plea of the boy may not acceptable.

I agree with the views of the above legal experts.

Is there any way for the repair work that could be undertaken through mediation and counselling so they could be reunited?

Since both are majors and the marriage registered, it is valid.
The merits are in favour of girl.
