Birth certificate for passport

My query is that I dont have a birth certificate as I was born in home 20 years ago in bhopal M.P. and my birth is also not registered in the municipal records.
can I get a birth certificate now or any other procedure you all can suggest....?

You have to file a petition under birth and death act to get the order to register your birth date in municipal records.....contact a lawyer in your place

Consult the office of the Registrar birth and deaths, find out the procedure for late registration and complete the procedure.

passport authorities requires high school certificate for dob proof, if date of birth before 1989.

You may have to obtain non-availability of records in the birth and death register held by the authorities, move a petition along with this and other relevant documents namely, school records indicating your date of birth, before a magistrate court, and follow the the further procedure in this regard which will bring forth the desired solution. Take the help of a local lawyer and go ahead.
