Prevailing law for eviction of house from illegal heir

I have residential premises in Gujarat which was given to a person known to my father.the person to whom premises given for residence purpose is expired and same premises presently occupied by his mistress which seems to be illegal heir.Under which law I can approach court of law.In this case whether FIR against mistress can be lodged?

issue legal notice and file suit for eviction

Better Meet them and Sort it out amicably.Whether they or Legal or Illegal Heir it is not going to Serve your Purpose any way.Of course an Eviction Suit could be Filed but the Time Limit of it would be Un Certain.
