you have received the amount of Rs 4000 wrongly debited from your account .

if you move consumer forum claiming compensation you will spend more money on legal fees

What amt u lost??why Rs 100 p day??
I don't advise,
As loss of money, time, tension, harassment for a very little gain, if at all..
useless. Be practical & prudent.

If you got back the wrong debit amount then happy to close the issue, What is 100 rs per day.

After receiving the principal amount, consumer forum may or may not award the desired compensation amount. You will be loosing more time and cost wise. Agree with the experts.

yes, better forget this .
Once cost effective method you can adopt and the same is writing to the Banking Ombudsman.

What is the yard stick for rs. 100 a day as compensation?, is it for the mental agony you suffered?, how did you measure exactly Rs. 100/- a day?, instead, better be contended that your money has been returned despite technical problems faced by the bankers.

You have every right to approach the consumer court for the interest loss if any for that amount.

You can get compensation for the mental agony.

If you go by the RBI guidelines in this aspect, you will stand losing your more money by initiating legal processes, by paying the lawyer his fees, attending the court on each every hearing by sparing your valuable time on this and many more issue that will crop up gradually, so think and take wise decision.
