Mutation

(Querist) 15 November 2013 This query is : Resolved
Purchased plot 10 yrs. back & constructed house. But applied for registration of mutation now. But Tehsildar says that the co sharer from whom purchased the plot has sold more than his share so mutation can not be allowed but ready to do if given money as per his demand. If get mutation after paying bribe then what is the danger. If no mutation then what is the danger. Which option is better or what is another remedy?

You should have to get mutation proceedings to the extent, what you have purchased under a Registered Sale Deed. If a mutation proceeding has been given for an excess land, it does not means that you are owing an excess land. If the said entry will creates you a problem in future. So better to ask the mutation, as per the extent of your sale deed.

Get the mutation effected as per your purchase documents.

But other co sharers feel that it will adversely affect their share so I feel they may create problems then what?
