Hi All,
This in regards to my elder brother who stays in China on work permit.
We both got marreid together, but my life is full of pleasure, but my brothers life has become hell. He started getting tortured from his wife and her family members on regular basis.
Finally he decided that this marriage is not worth and both of them cannot stay together becuase of the family members (his wife's family members) interference on each and every thing (from small to big family issues).
Finally My brother gave talaaque to her wife as per islamic shariyat with three witnessess, but now they started demanding unneccessary compensation apart from the one which is not liable and as per the Muslim law and Muslim shariyat.
The major reason for divorce was that she had done abortion twice. We have the reports available from the doctors as well.
They started threatining us that they will file case under 498, 125 and allow police to arrest all of us..
My Brother is getting mad now, bcoz girls family has started threatning us and saying that law always favour girls not boys...
Please advice what can we do now if our law is like this only...and also divorce is already done and we are ready to pay the amount as per SHariyat and Mulsim law...but now they are demanding for more...
My brothers wife is a doctor by profession and the crime by aborting her child she did can not be fogiven. She is not ddependent on any one....Please suggest us the way out..and advice ....

Dear Querist
if you have strong proof against her you can file a criminal complaint against her for extortion.

Dear Nadeem,
We can do that...even we have proof for the same. But before doing all such things...if the matter can be settled outside the court with Shariyat...than this is goog for both of us...and also this is as per Islam and shariyat..
This is good for the Girl as well.....as it wont let her getting embarrased in the society.

Has your brother returned Mehar or not?
If not then first of all this should be done so that officially the relationship of husband and wife may be got ended for ever.
