Rule 9 in O47 of CPC. Why limitation/bar is prescribed?

Bar of certain applications.- No application to review an order made on an application for a review or a decree or order passed or made on a review shall be entertained.

Can anyone explain the logic behind the bar prescribed.

Dear Sir. No logic is described in any book.

Review itself acts as an appeal.

Order XLVII Rule9.Reads" Bar of certain applications
No application to review an order made on an application for a review or a decree or order passed or made on a review shall be entertained."

It is so simple yet you have a question.

The rule simply lays that there shall be no review of a review.

Had it been allowed to get a review reviewed, there would be no end to it.

Understand now the logic behind?or still ?

If a petition for review of an order passed on review application filed by party is entertained, there will be no end to litigation and therefore appeal or writ against such order would be appropriate. I agree with Mr. Prabhakar Singh's views.
