Please let me know whta is the expense involved in transfer deed / gift deed.
Also I got information from a lawyer that if I make a case to court I will get exemption on the expense.

The stamp duty payable in each State is different. Plz tell to which state you belong. Better you contact to your local Deed-writer, who generally sit near the Registration Office, who have the list of latest rates of value of transfer deed/gift deed leviable containing various facts. If you file a civil collusive suit, definitely the aforesaid expenses can be saved but it takes a lot of time. The opinion given is correct.riven

I think it is not safe to go for a collusive decree. The safest, proper and legal way is to pay the stamp duty and get the document registered. The stamp duty and other expenses vary from state to state.riven
