Is there any Act protecting the employees

Dear all
If company A(P)Ltd, credit our salary on 20th of every suceeding month , is there any provision for employees to protect that they can get salary within the stipulated period. Is there any Act. If in case to file a suit against the company under which section and under which ACT can be sued ????.In which period can the employee expect salary on every monthriven

As per the payment of wages Act every month within 10th day the payment of wages/ salary to be distributed if it continues delayed payment it is an offence. Such type of cabitual defaulties punished by the appropriate forum.If the complaint or any suspense visit made by them.
