Original cancellation deed required for filing writ

(Querist) 30 January 2013 This query is : Resolved
Dear sir, we want to file a writ regarding cancellation of unconditional gift deed (gifted by the husband to wife). need to know if the original of the cancellation deed is required to be filed with the writ petition.

the lawyer has asked for true certified copy of the cancellation deed to be submitted with the writ for interim injuction, whereas all other supporting docs are just xerox copies.

also adv if only copies of the supporting documents suffice?
Thanks in adv.

you have copy of gift deed . it should suffice for filing purposes .original is never enclosed . your lawyer has to certify it is true copy .
