Dear Sir
Family of my friend select a girl to get him married and than they started talking over phone and meet several time and they also have physical intercourse several times as they decided to get married. One day my friend introduced her with one of his friend and he shocked his friend told him not to get marry her because he also have physical intercourse with her and he also show photographs and videos also.
My friend asked the girl and refused to get marry her. now she threatening him that if he would not marry her than she will file rape case against him.
Please advise......

it is better to break off now then suffer for rest of your life . if at all she files case of rape you can say it was consenusal sex . was formal engagement done ?

From the query, I feel something was fishy at the bottom at both the sides. In my views, both are guilty of immoral trafficking. The question arises, who gave license to the boy & girl for intercourse without marriage (may be with mutual consensus) merely on decision to marry. If the boy gets the information about her involvement with his friend also, why he should think that he was licensed for interourse with her even before marriage? If the boy settles mariage with other girls one after the other, would he be right to have intercoourse with all those girls without getting married and later decides to refuse from marriage on the same pretext?
Had your friend not started the immoral activity on his part, only then he would have been morally right in his refusal to marry her.
So, better, both should settle the matter with mutual understanding. Taking help of police or court may be troublesome for both of them for indefinite time leading merely to ruin their own lives by getting themselves openly defamed.

Dear Sethi Sir There is no formal engagement done. The families only meet..
Dhingra Sir after getting information from his friend he refused to maintain the relation ship with the girl.
Sir my friend wants breakup but she threatening that she will file rape case against him...

Dear Sneha,
If there was no engagement, the term of "would be wife" has no relevance. In that case,virtually no liability rests on each party. Even then, my suggestion to settle the issue once for all by mutual discussions and forget for ever, provided there involves no pregnancy issue.
