Domestic voilance

If Court award maintenance against husband under domestic voilance and wife fieled recovery for payment of maintenance, then under this act which procedure the recovery of maintenance will proceed

1- in civil
2- in criminal

if husband not pay any maintenance under domestic voilance then, can magistrate send jail to husband, if yes then for how many days

Violation or breach of any order passed under The Protection Of Women From Domestic Violence Act, 2005,is treated an offence and the proceedings are initiated before the Magistrate who passed it under section 31 of the Act under which breach is punishable with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine which may extend to twenty thousand rupees, or with both.
