Reagrding resignation acceptance letter

Dear sir/madam
I have resigned from the Central govt service with request" It is requested that I may be relieved by 22/05/2012 , so that I can join my new assignment on 23/05/2012.
The institute didn't reply me and letter of resignation acceptance has not been issue till today.Can I join my new job the 23/05/2012 or not?

Not advisable. Get formal official acceptance by personal visits to the competent authority. There may be delay in getting no objection certificates from various departments of your organisation.

You should not unless you get "NOC"of previous employer.Visit and persuade personally.

Govt. Official well aware , how to delay matter with out owning responsibly. Furnish them since you are are not furnishing me NOC and there is nothing against me and further delay may cause me hurt my career,In these circumstances,any adverse from you will amounting you reason and I am joining at new place(mention name)
