Power of attorney

My query is relating to Power of Attorney

1) What is general power of attorney and specific power of attorney ?
2)When is general and specific power of attorney revoked ?
3) When can a irrevocable power of attorney is revoked
4)If "A" residing in Rajasthan, wants to give a Power of Attorney to B who is in Gujarat for executing a Sale Deed in respect of propety in gujarat. What will be the stamp that will applicable when "A" signs and sends the POA to "B" for executing Sale Deed. When "B" receives the POA who is in Gujarat for executing Sale Deed, whether any further stampduty is required to be paid & whther it is required to be registered.
5)What is the procedure when POA is to be issued by NRI and what will be the procedure to be followed when it is received in India and what will be stamp duty that is required to be paid before execution especially when POA is executed in Gujarat.

1) general power of attorney authorizes your Agent to act on your behalf in a variety of different situations. Special Power of Attorney - authorizes your Agent to act only for speciifc pupose .

2) general/special power of attorney revocation has to be in writing .

3)irrevocable power of attorney if coupled with interest cnanot be revoked .

4)stamp duty is nominal . see stamp act of particular state
