Limitation on maintenance?

Dear sirs,in crpc 125 petition filed on september 09.interim ordered in april 10.i have paid all the amount for 16 months except 3 months due.now opposite advocate threatens to file memo.what is memo?i think it is execution.i dont want to escape to pay the money as a moral obligation towards my son.even i dont agree to grow my child with others sympathy money. but i am asking little time.i just want to know,what is legal point on the limitation of maintenance?is she has any statutory right in above circumstances? thank you sirs.

The given arrears is of no consequence. The arrears up to one year can be recovered. You can pray before court to provide you some more time. Generally it is provided. You keep on depositing some amount as and when available.

The courts are not happy to send you to jail without reason.
