Registered marriage

Hi,
my sister(muslim)is engaged to a guy working in gulf, the guy's family is creating problem in their marriage. So the girl and the guy wants to get registered marriage during his holidays,and commit to each other. The guy will come down in holidays in about 2 months time.
In such circumstances, would you pls suggest the procedure and the consquences that may occur.
What are the documents to be submitted? while he is away, can we get him sign the documents and courier and we submit here?
Pls guide us.

as per muslim law no registered in any register office, best thing you can approach any one of the jamaat members give your consent than married.

They can marry as per the customs and rites of Islam before a Kazi and they will be issued a Nikahnama.

I agree with experts, if both are Muslims, go for nikah before a Qazi or Imam, get nikahnama, there is no need to registered a marriage again.

Since both parties are major, there no problem in marrying in accordance with Muslim law and obtaining Nikahnana and also under Special Marriage Act.It is far the parties to decide.

But the marriage can also be registered under Special Marriage Act.
You can approach nearest Registrar office for the same.

Both the system of marriage is good it is depend upon the circumstance and situation because under special marriage act you have to wait for a period of thirty days after filing of notice of intended to marriage under section five of special marriage act, but the Nikah before any kazi or Imam in the presence of wakil and gawah it will take no time and you will get certificate also, it is also not compulsory to get married in your residence area but you can go for Nikah at any place. condition both should must major in age having proof for the same to face the future consequences.
