My Grand Mother (Father Mother) got a cultivation land of 5 Akers in Bellary district (Karnataka) which she gave it to My father. It was registered on my Dads name in the year 1974.. after that my dad never went to check out that land or he did anything about it… Last few days back I went to Registration office to check details of that land which my father never checked since 1974 and what I found out is Some one called Mr.Uligappa got that land on his name in 1978 with the help of local Special tahaseldar and from that year (1978) its still on his name.. Now I want to get back that land coz we got proper papers of that land with us. Please suggest me what I have to do to get it back..

File a criminal case as well as a civil suit seeking aside all proceeding made fake at the back of your father causing transfer of that land from your father to some other person's name.

When next time shall you go for enquiring about your land or in court?

I am asking this question because this is tradition of your family.

Get weakened ,dear! Land is a scar thing in India.husely populated.Then sleeper are but to face a ride by starves.

Shroff! You say 30 years, it is about 40 years and moreover one generation didn't care for the land and hope the same generation shall now care and shall take the desired action.

if now only you got the knowledge about the fake transaction mean you can challenge it..

but the limitation may be a hurdle to you., even you can manage it..

just right a letter to tashildar to cancel the relevent revenue records which is fake..

ther will not be any response to you.. then invoke your writ jurisdiction..
