HI ALL,
I m a student and we got an assignment in which we have to submit respondent's reply for petition filled under sections 9 to 13 B and 24 of Hindu Marriage Act.so if any one can help me and tell me the basic ingredients for making reply for all these petitions.
I will be great full for this.

as far as technical part is concerned better find out the matter from some good book for drafting.

and for facts you have to put in your reply as per the facts stated to you....since you have to merely presume the things so it will be better for you to do some mental exercise while making a reply to the given facts.

Unless you put the contents of any petition no particular reply or guidance can be given.

In a reply petition grounds taken in the petition are according to statement of respondent either admitted or denied and additional pleas are also pleaded as per facts of the case in para graphical order.

respondent can not submit response w/o knowing the contents of the petition.

Thank u for your reply u all.
But i have doubt specially in reply for complain under sec 24 of hindu law.as wife is asking maintenance of re.5000 p.m. and husband does not want to give. defiantly he can not deny but how can he pray to make less amount for maintenance?
i had gone through drafting books but in all, there is drafting for petition but not for reply thats y i needed to ask u.

Again it is a matter of facts, It can be denied based on the facts.

Normal pleas taken are:

1. She is educated
2. She is working part time as tuition teacher, embroidery expert, tailoring etc.
3. That a particular HC has stated that as lady is entitled for free legal aid, hence she is not entitled for any litigation expenses.
