Usufructuary mortgage

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 10 November 2011 This query is : Resolved
In the case of usufructuary mortgage, when do we say that no time limit is fixed for redemption. For example if the Mortgage agreements provides

that Mortgagor should repay the money after 3 years. If the Mortgagor does not pay the Mortgage money with in 3 years, he should retain the property untill the payment is made.

In the above case can we say that no time limit is fixed for Redemption of usufructuary mortgage

yes you can say because the condition it self says that " he should retain the property until the payment is made" So there is time limitation til the repayment of the amount.
