Is my marriage certificate valid?

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 20 October 2011 This query is : Resolved 
in my marriage certificate we are having only name .. i check with others.. but they were having photo also on their certificate.
Is having a photo necessary on marriage certificate? my photograps were submitted with them but are not present on my marriage certificate.

It was issued in Ghaziabad.

It was not necessary till recently. Now it is becoming necessary in most states.

It is valid even without your pictures.
