Factory licence..

I find a company of my clinet runing a factory over 5 plus year; but without having licence.

a) what is the implicantion for not having licence.
b) do we need to get the licence and is it mandatory.
c) If need to apply, what are the form and the procedure to comply with
d) with whom it should be registered and licence to be obtained.

All that depends upon the nature of manufacturing process, products, location of factory, pollution that spreads, health hazardness, etc. Any advice on generic nature of questions can only be misleading.

The factory is manufacturing Home appliances.. runing a factory over 5 plus year; but without having licence.

a) the total number of employees is over 50 in various cadre.

b) about 40 people are working under contract; where no contract licence is obtained. or covered under contract labour Regulation and abolition act

c) Pl. advise can we apply now. If need to apply, what are the form and the procedure to comply with
d) with whom it should be registered and licence to be obtained.
