Redevelopment of tenancy building

Dear Sir,

I am staying in mumbai.
The bldg.in which i stay is a tenancy bldg. & is going in Redevelopment. My house is of 350 sq.ft. So as per law how much area should i get after redevelopment? And as per which law?

Kindly resolve my query as early as possible.

if majority ie 70%of tnenats have decided to go for redevelopment then you must be entering into agreement with builder . it depends upon negotiating skills of tenants as how much area they get and other benefits

Thank you sir.

But i have heard that their is a law which says those who have 100sq.ft. gets 300sq.ft. area & those having above 300sq.ft. gets 550sq.ft.area. Can u let me know abt this law in detail? And plz give the reference.

1)accoring to development control regulations 33(7)in case of cessed buildings every tenant having area of less than 300 square feet has to be given ownership flat of 300 square feet
2) for tenants with area between 300 square feet and 753 square feet no extra area will be given
