Dear sir If a person is accused in any case and case in trial in any court. A person selected for govt. job. Can he is eligible for appointment in job.

became accused after filling application.any offence involving moral terpitude can bar prospect of job but on conviction only.

Until and unless,an accused is not hold guilty finaly by court in a criminal case,comes under purview of moral terpitude,he/she is entitled to do Govt. job.However fact of his/her prosecution should not be concealed by him/her from the employer.

Merely named as accused or facing a trial is not a bar in government unless he is convicted by the final court. the said conviction must be more then 7 years. but it is necessary to disclose the fact of pendency of the trial in application form, if is required in advertisement.

His appointement shall be withheld till he his not charge-sheeted. Police verification report shall not be cleared.
