Re. Relinquishment Deed Execution

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 20 June 2011 This query is : Resolved
My father died on 15-06-2000. He had a DDA flat in his name, but he had not executed any will. After his death we (3 Brothers and one married sister) executed Relinquishment Deed in name of my Mother. I want to know whether my mother have all rights of property or only have title of property who cannot act without consent of other family members. I have no access to Relinquishment Deed executed by us. Please do answer at your earliest. Format of Relinquishment Deed is attached herewith which is also available at DDA site.

Since all the sons and daughter have executed a registered relinquishment deed, relinquishing all rights, interests and Shares in the flat in favour of your mother and had also declared and affirmed that you will have no claim, right or interest in the flat, the said FLAT has become the absolute property of your mother. None of you have any claim over it during the life time of your mother.
