ration card

sir,
my father has left us (he hasnt divorced my mother but is living seperately).my brother is working abroad from 3 years.i stay with my mother and sister in andhrapradesh.we like to apply for a ration card in my mother's name and she stays at home and is not working,is it possible for us to apply for ration card.what are the required things to apply for it,please kindly inform.

you just apply form, nothing to ask, but they are asking current address proof, either Gas recipt, or agreement for rent or EB bill your name,. thats all.
